And here it is! A little the worse for wear, and still missing some final deck boards and a section of hand railing at the far end. You can also see the chunks of logs from where Pete cut up the several dead trees that had drifted into the area during the flood. A couple days later, Lee and James returned and finished up the carpentry. They also guy-wired the bridge sections down to their piers, and also to upstream trees; hopefully to avoid the recurrence of the bridge floating away. The water can get amazingly deep, but without a lot of flow, it should suffice to just keep the bridge from going anywhere. (photo by Bill Taggart)
