Building the Terrace Pond Floating Walkway

While the high-line was being sorted out and rigged, some of the team assembled the ladder which would be installed down the nearly-vertical stone face that the trail currently required hikers to scramble up or down.

It was fun for experienced hikers, challenging for some, and all but impassable for small children. In the winter it was often a sheer wall of ice, at which point it was hazardous at best - a real show-stopper.
