After a while, we began to have a better idea of where we could walk and where we couldn't. Here, Olivia is "good", holding a rockbar. A foot-step ahead of her - not so much! It was like this all over the worksite. Many of us "went in" to at least our knee on multiple occastions. Based on the quantity of footwear that we churned up out of the mud, lots of other people have had the same experience - except they ended up hiking out barefooted.
