Prior to the air-lift, the Forest Fire Service folks regrouped the materials into load bundles, and placed them into cargo net webs. These webs were placed on a flat-bed truck and brought to the gas pipeline crossing on Clinton Road. From there, the helicopter lowered a cable and a web bundle was attached. A minute or two later, the pilot and his team were setting the load in our drop zone.
