On the third worktrip, we discovered we had company at the site. This beautiful female(?) rattlesnake showed up in this spot for at least 2 weeks. She may have been there before, as clearly this was her neighborhood, but we hadn't seen her. We changed our intended routing of the approach trail to through the drop zone to give her privacy.
