This is the area which we identified as being pretty much ideal as a place for the air-lift loads to be dropped. It's early Spring, so the trees are bare, but there are several of them which are completely dead. As it turns out, the FFS folks wanted to expand this area a little bit more to make it an actual landing zone for emergency evacuations or fire support.
