Despite having been lifted off it's pilings and dropped unceremoniously nearby, the bridge's sections were largely intact, having been built well in the first place. Also, since they had simply floated away like a raft and then been set back down; they were in pretty good shape. Some sections were twisted from coming to rest with one side higher than the other, but we felt reasonably sure that twist would relax once the section was back on level footing. (photo by Monica Day)
